Wrote an op-ed for the Chronicle Herald (2015) and an article for the Victoria Standard (2015) discussing the demise of several Nova Scotia hardwood flooring mills after many decades of provincial policies favouring the production of softwoods.
CBC prepared a 2-part radio documentary (Part I and II) (2006) on the Forest Sustainability Regulations, stemming from the report Ecology Action Centre released. EAC was quoted extensively, and provided much of the background information for the documentary.

The Chronicle Herald (2006) wrote an editorial supporting EAC request to the Nova Scotia government to use Voluntary Planning for the Natural Resources consultations.

Interviewed and quoted in the Telegraph Journal (New Brunswick) (1997) regarding the environmental assessment of the Sable gas pipeline though the Maritime provinces.
Co- wrote press releases on black-headed budworm spraying, the Forest Sustainability Regulations, public input into forest strategy development, riparian buffer zones, forest biomass, the National Forest Strategy report card, and election commitments vis à vis the environment and provincial forest strategy (2004-2008).
